Wellman Inc., Reterra Plastics and Krones Inc. have joined the group, increasing its membership to 33. Krones Inc. in Franklin, Wis., is a unit of German company Krones AG. Houston-based Reterra Plastics recycles polyethylene terephthalate bottles and Wellman is one of the leading U.S. PET resin producers and scrap PET consumers. NAPCOR has had eight new members join since December. "We view this as indicative of strong interest in the work that NAPCOR is doing to support the PET package, its recyclability and its sustainability as a packaging material," said Tom Busard, NAPCOR chairman.
