Norweigan Isklar eyes UK mainstream with 100% recycled PET
The PETrecycling.cz assessment based on R&D up-to-day results is, that it should be made clear, that all beverage containers, e.g. PET bottles, ALU cans and glass bottles, that are commercially imported into Czech Republic or sold here should be included in return systems with deposits - to encourage the consumers to take the bottles back

In June, Norwegian bottler Isklar  is set to become the first Norwegian bottled water brand available in mainstream retail across the UK.

 The bottles, made from 25% recycled PET, will be backed by a £2.5 million (€3.1 million) marketing campaign starting in June.

Isklar plans to switch to 100% recycled PET bottles in August.

Sidel helped provide equipment for two floors of the bottling plant that will produce water at a rate of 36,000 bph and will be capable of reprocessing 700 million bottles per year. The plant is Norway’s largest mineral water bottling plant.

Isklar is backed by Omani company Sabco and Jova Holdings, which runs a Norwegian shipping and logistics company. The project is supported by the Norwegian government and Innovation Norway.
