COMPANY PROFILE OF SLS (PVT) LTD.
We started our
journey to market and sale SUPERLUBE-brand Semi-Synthetic and Premier
Quality Lubricants for Industrial and Automotive application from 1st
August 1991. The firm SUPER LUBE SERVICES
(in short – SLS) was registered with Dhaka City Corporation on 13th
July 1991. Subsequently, on 1st April 1993 the firm – Super
Lube Service (SLS) was incorporated in to a Private Limited Company, in
the name and style of “SLS (PVT) LTD.”
with registered office and postal address at “24
Station Road, Tejgaon, Dhaka-1215, Bangladesh”.
The objectives of
setting-up of this business were to promote and develop use of
Semi-Synthetic and Premier Quality Lubricants for automotive, industrial
and OEM applications. It was long felt here that due to lack of knowledge
about lubricants our customers were losing money by way of loss of
production and shortening machinery durability. Our company has been
striving to attain the position of being the market leader in the field of
“Tribology” (Science of
Lubrication - the study of friction, wear, lubrication, and the design of
bearings). This ultimately reduces metal to metal friction, thereby
increasing the life-span of machineries and saving energy (electrical
watts and fuel consumption). We have started Exporting PET-Flakes / Scraps
from 2003 to P.R. China.

Over the years, the
Company has blossomed from a modest concern to a specialized
well-integrated Company with a countrywide reputation for supplying
quality products. We are using customized software for preparing our MIS
reports and customer’s after-sales service records, thereby, reducing
response time to our valued customers’ inquiries. We have been serving over 3800 of our valued
customers and patrons in industrial, automotive and OEM segments in Bangladesh since 1991.
Our marketing and
after-sales service are managed by experienced personnel. The products are
delivered directly from the company's godown to the end-users premises. We
have also arrangements to deliver products through our Agents to different
customers (numbering over 1,000) who are located outside Dhaka, throughout
Bangladesh. The Sales Team comprising of 28 trained and motivated
personnel who ensure that quality products and services are delivered at
correct time, suiting our customers requirements.
The Managing Director of
the Company, a Mechanical Engineer, passed from Pak-Swiss Training Centre,
Karachi, Pakistan in 1973. Worked in the maintenance, production and
commercial departments of the following major companies during his career:
a) SKF-Singapore’s Dhaka office, SKEFTECH (PVT) LTD., first as Application
Engineer (August 1991) and later as General Manager (July 1994) for 5.5
years. b) BAT-UK’s subsidiary in Bangladesh (BTC) for 7 years from January
1980 to January 1987 as Maintenance Superintendent and Production Manager
(from January 1984). c) Imperial Iranian Air Force for 2 years from June
1977 to June 1979 as Metal Processing Specialist.
