First PLA Bottle
Conference bioplastics MAGAZINE, the only trade magazine dedicated to bioplastics, i.e. plastics from renewable raw materials and biodegradable plastics, cordially invites to the 1st PLA Bottle Conference. PLA (Polylactide), a compostable plastic made from renewable resources is being discussed intensely today esp. with view to increasing crude oil prices. The stretch blow molded PLA bottles of Biota or Naturally Iowa (USA), Belu (UK) and Vitamore (Germany) as well as the reports in the press have initiated an increasing interest from the PET- and beverage industry. Basically everybody in these market segments has heard or read about PLA and is excited. But fundamental information is hard to find. That's why bioplastics MAGAZINE organizes the 1st PLA Bottle Conference on 12-13 Sept. 2007 in the Grand Elysee Hotel in Hamburg, Germany.
