The German retailer Netto-Marken-Discount which belongs to the Edeka Group has placed an order for 500 reverse vending machine systems for refillable as well as non-refillable beverage containers with Tomra.

The order will cover the initial demand of Netto-Marken-Discount to equip the former Plus stores with Tomra reverse vending technology after the German cartel authorities yesterday approved the takeover.
